London, 23rd July 2018 – New research from BroadGroup suggests that Morocco has joined the four African top data center markets – together with South Africa, Kenya, Egypt and Nigeria - measured by capacity and power availability.

The new report – Data Centers Africa II – published this August has now been extended and covers 21 countries.

Abidjan, 10 juillet 2018 – Une nouvelle association professionnelle pour les centres de données africains sera formée lors du sommet Datacloud Africa, un nouveau forum axé sur l’investissement dans les centres de données, leur alimentation, leur connexion et leur déploiement aux quatre coins du continent, qui se tiendra à Marrakech le 28 septembre.

Abidjan – 10 July 2018 – A new industry association for African Data Centers is to be formed at the Datacloud Africa Summit – a new forum focused on investing, powering, connecting, and deploying data centers across the continent - which takes place in Marrakech on 28 September.

As the digital economy is all about data, Africa will need to develop its own Data Center Network to ensure Data sovereignty, bandwidth and latency time, and bring back the IT Load across the continent.
