Clément Martineau is Co-Founder and Operations Director of IXAfrica Data Centre, East Africa's largest carrier-neutral, hyperscale-AI ready data centre campus, based in Nairobi, Kenya. He has lived and worked in Kenya for close to 15 years, developing a range of real estate projects before co-founding IXAfrica in 2017. Since then, he has led site acquisition, infrastructure development, and business growth across Kenya and expanding African markets, helping bring the region's first hyperscale-ready facility, NBOX1, online, and more recently supporting Oracle's first public cloud region launch in Kenya through a partnership with IXAfrica. He also worked on the LION2 submarine fibre optic cable landing station connecting Kenya and Mayotte with Orange Telkom Kenya. He holds an Engineer's degree in Building Construction Technology and Economy from Paris Saint Lambert ECOTEC.
