Temitope Osunrinde
Temitope Osunrinde is a seasoned leader with over 16 years of experience at the intersection of digital infrastructure, telecoms, and business development. He has a proven track record of driving market-leading strategies for both global and African organizations, with expertise spanning market intelligence, consulting, brand strategy, and sales leadership.
Temitope has played a pivotal role in transforming and scaling businesses across broadband, data centers, colocation, cloud services, and consulting. He has participated in high-impact initiatives for pioneering companies, including repositioning the data center, subsea, and enterprise connectivity portfolios of MainOne (acquired by Equinix for $320 million), rebranding Verraki (formerly Accenture Nigeria), and shaping the sales and marketing direction for West Africa’s first solar-powered internet service provider, Tizeti, as Chief Marketing Officer.
Through his work at Africa Hyperscalers and The Littlesteps Company, he has helped grow Africa’s compute ecosystem while partnering with global technology leaders such as Nokia, Vertiv, Open Access Data Centres, Dimension Data, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) among several others.
As Director of the Hyperscalers Convergence Africa sessions, Temitope convenes industry leaders to advance Africa’s compute ecosystem, fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth. He is also deeply committed to helping African digital infrastructure companies build and protect their reputations in increasingly competitive markets.
Temitope holds an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School, where he served as President of the Energy Club (and hosted the 2nd Africa Energy Conference), Fellow, DHL GoTrade GBSN Fellowship Program and Vice President of Memberships/Public Relations for Beta Gamma Sigma, the AACSB-accredited business honor society. His academic experience includes programs at Yale School of Management, IE Business School, EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey, Stockholm School of Economics, and the National University of Singapore.
In addition to his professional career, Temitope has served on advisory boards, including the board of Junior Achievement Nigeria, the Nigerian chapter of the world’s oldest economic empowerment non-governmental organization.
